CLAIRE roadshow
The Confederation of Laboratories for Artificial Intelligence Research in Europe (CLAIRE) has announced the launch of four new offices. These will be located in Zürich, Oslo, Paris and Brussels and will complement the existing offices in The Hague, Prague, Rome and Saarbrücken. There will be a launch roadshow beginning on 26 May which will take the form of a series of virtual events.

For each event, the offices will invite national and international speakers, including government representatives and panellists from various areas of AI, to talk about topics related to the designated focus area of the respective office. The launch timetable is as follows:

CLAIRE roadshow events

Each CLAIRE Office has its own focus in supporting work on current topics around European and human-centred AI research, AI for good and AI for all. The Belgian office will focus on European AI policy, the Swiss office will concentrate on AI for Good and collaboration with NGOs committed to that goal. The Norwegian office will work on AI-related topics around start-ups, and the French office will focus on Private-Public-Partnerships (PPPs).

About CLAIRE

The Confederation of Laboratories for Artificial Intelligence Research in Europe (CLAIRE) is an organisation created by the European AI community that seeks to strengthen European excellence in AI research and innovation, with a strong focus on human-centred AI. CLAIRE aims to ensure that societies and citizens across all of Europe, and beyond, benefit from AI as a major driver of innovation, future growth and competitiveness, and to achieve world-wide brand recognition for “AI made in Europe”.

Further information about the offices’ focus areas, panellists and the programmes for the official openings will be provided here.
