Akshay is a researcher in the areas of text & data mining, natural language processing, machine learning with applications in education, retail, healthcare and finance. He did his B.Tech (2017) at SRM University and was an undergraduate researcher at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2016). He has previously held a position at Samsung Research Institute. He is currently working as a research engineer with IBM Research lab as part of the AI for Industry Solutions pillar.
