David Fridovich-Keil is an assistant professor in Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at The University of Texas at Austin, where directs the Control and Learning for Autonomous Robotics (CLeAR) Laboratory. He is a core member of the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences and Texas Robotics. His research spans optimization, game theory, machine learning, and robotics, with a substantial focus on establishing game-theoretic models of multi-agent strategic interactions. A key aim of his recent work has been to integrate these capabilities with generative machine learning techniques by leveraging fundamental connections with optimization theory and differentiable programming. He is the recipient of an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and an NSF CAREER award.
