Hugo Gimbert is a tenured CNRS researcher specializing in game theory, algorithms and social choice. He is particularly interested in stochastic games with partial observation and the associated decidability problems. He is currently the head of the research department "Formal Models and Methods" in LaBRI, the computer science lab of Bordeaux, France. He is also involved in the design of the French university admission system (Parcoursup), in humanoid robotic competitions and in robotics for agriculture.
