Lan ‘Vivien’ Zou is an AI Researcher at Silicon Valley and Carnegie Mellon University. She holds a master’s degree from CMU School of Computer Science, and earned Mathematics and Statistics degrees from the University of Washington. Her work has been reported by the US and Japanese mainstream media, including Yahoo! Finance and Cision, as well as featured at the ICML and Softbank global conferences. She is also a published book author contributing a deep learning lecture note to Springer Nature's Advances in Computer Vision.
