Maris Galesloot is an ELLIS PhD Candidate since April 2023 at the Institute for Computing and Information Science of Radboud University, in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He is a member of the AI-FM research group, advised by Prof. Dr. Nils Jansen and supported by the ERC Starting Grant DEUCE (101077178). From February to August 2025, he was a visiting PhD student at the University of Oxford, advised by his ELLIS exchange host, Prof. Dr. Nick Hawes at the Oxford Robotics Institute, supported by the ELSA mobility program. In his PhD, he focuses on robust sequential decision-making in partially observable and uncertain environments.'
