Patrick Lederer
Patrick Lederer is a postdoctoral researcher in the Computational Social Choice group at the Institute of Logic, Language, and Computation at the University of Amsterdam. Prior to joining the ILLC, he obtained a PhD in computer science at the Technical University of Munich and worked as a postdoc in the Algorithmic Decision Theory group at UNSW. His research focuses on the design of normatively compelling methods for collective decision-making, with a particular emphasis on fairness and incentive-compatibility considerations. To design such methods, he employs methods from AI, computer science, and economics.
