As part of our ongoing focus on the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs), we are launching the third topic in this series: quality education. Posts on this topic will be featured on our website throughout March.

AIhub focus issue on quality education

Quality education

We will be covering two aspects to education. Firstly, training and education in the field of AI itself. Secondly, the use of AI methods to improve education generally. All levels of education will be considered, from schools to University level, from the general public to industry and professional development.

In this series, our planned content includes an article from Carles Sierra on team formation using AI techniques. We will also cover the recent Educational Advances in Artificial Intelligence (EAAI) symposium which took place as part of AAAI 2021 in February.

You will be able to find all the articles related to this issue as we publish them at this link.

About the UN Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 interlinked goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. The SDGs were set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.

Would you like to contribute?

There is still time to contribute to this focus series. Just send us an email and we’d be happy to help you shape a blog post or set up an interview. Also, watch this space as we are soon to announce the next SDG we plan to cover, with content for that being published from April onwards.
