M. Özgür Kayalica



Professor M. Özgür Kayalica is a Professor at the Energy Institute and Director of TEGAM (Technological and Economic Development Research Center), Istanbul Technical University. Kayalica’s research focuses on the microeconomics of environmental economics, energy economics and trade theory. Kayalica is the co-author of International Environmental Efficiency: A Critical Analysis (Routledge, 2017). He has two books forthcoming from Springer on Energy and Sustainability topics. He has also published numerous articles in SCI/SSCI indexed journals. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Essex. Kayalica directed and participated in several national and international projects. He has also advised several international and national agencies such as The World Resources Institute’s Istanbul program; Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) for the Bosporus Cross-Channel Subway Project; and Ministry of Industry and Trade.
