Mustafa Sinan Mustafaoğlu received his BSc in Civil Engineering in Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his master’s degree in construction management in the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. He has been working with financial and progress data for more than seven years in the private sector. He started his PhD in the Energy Science and Technology Programme at Istanbul Technical University in 2020 for the purpose of combining his data analysis experience with theoretical background to study energy poverty and machine learning applications related to residential energy usage.
