a pile of question marks

On 28 August, the CLAIRE (Confederation of Laboratories for Artificial Intelligence Research in Europe) All Questions Answered (AQuA) series continued, with a one-hour session focussing on AI for citizens. This session was held in conjunction with the European Networks of Excellence and ICT-48 project VISION.

This webinar examined the concrete examples of applications and actions that the European Networks of Excellence have developed over the past four years, with a special focus on benefits brought to citizens and the general public. The panellists also discussed the considerations that researchers had to take into account in their work while respecting the general principles of trustworthy AI.

The session was recorded and you can watch in full below:

Moderator: Elizabeth El Haddad

The panel for this event:

  • Oscar Deniz Suarez (Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha)
  • Danae Tsabouraki (Athens Technology Center)
  • Paul Lukowicz (University of Kaiserslautern)
  • Adrian Popescu (CEA)
